Apricity Apiary was started by their cofounders Ron Nolte and Kimberly Crabtree. Their beekeeping journey started when they wanted to make and use products that they knew where they came from.  They quickly discovered that beekeeping is challenging, rewarding, painful (at times), and sweet most of the times!

Kim and Ron settled on their name because they both agreed that the most invigorating feeling on a chilly day was the warmth of the sun on their face. Something that they hope their honey will be a close second to!

They have recently started using their bee products to help with some of their dog Zeus's skin allergies. Zeus doubles as the Annapolis Apiary's chief security officer.
